This privacy policy describes how Onrian s.r.o. (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use the Pulse Club mobile application and this website (collectively, the ‘Service’). We are the data controller for the personal data described below.
1. Data Controller
Onrian s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic, European Union. For data protection enquiries please contact pulseclub@onrian.com.
2. What Data We Collect
Account data: your phone number (used for sign-in via SMS verification). Profile data: first name or display name, age, optional bio, gender and preference, profile photos. Activity data: your likes, your matches, messages exchanged with matches, settings (active modes, preferences). Technical data: an anonymous device identifier, app version, OS version, crash logs. Bluetooth proximity data: a rotating anonymous identifier broadcast over Bluetooth Low Energy when the radar is active. We do NOT collect: GPS location, contacts, photos library beyond what you explicitly upload, or precise location of any kind.
3. How We Use Your Data
To provide the core Service: detecting nearby members via Bluetooth, showing them on your radar, processing likes and creating matches, delivering chat messages. To keep the Service safe: preventing abuse, blocking and reporting. To improve the Service: anonymous, aggregated analytics. To communicate with you: account notifications, transactional emails, and (only with your consent) marketing about Pulse Club.
4. Legal Basis (GDPR)
Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): providing the Service you signed up for. Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): marketing emails, optional features, sensitive profile fields. Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): security, fraud prevention, aggregated analytics. Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): responding to lawful requests from authorities.
5. Who We Share Data With
Service providers under data processing agreements: Google (Firebase Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage — hosted in EU data centres), our email provider, our analytics provider. We do not sell your personal data. We do not share data with advertisers.
6. How Long We Keep Data
Account and profile: while your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion. Likes and like-intents: rotated and expired automatically (typically within 24 hours of being sent). Matches and chat messages: until you delete them or your account. Crash logs and analytics: 13 months max.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing, and request portability. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (Settings → Privacy). For anything else, email pulseclub@onrian.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).
8. International Transfers
Your data is stored in EU data centres. Where Google sub-processors transfer data outside the EU, this happens under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
9. Children
Pulse Club is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app and via email. The ‘last updated’ date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
